Trabajamos en estrecha colaboración con fundaciones locales que apoyan a niños que viven en barrios vulnerables. Cada fundación tiene su propio enfoque para generar un impacto positivo en la vida de estos niños, a través del deporte, la música, la danza, el desarrollo emocional y el aprendizaje lúdico.
El voluntariado con niños es una experiencia increíblemente gratificante, ya que te da la oportunidad de conectarte verdaderamente con la cultura colombiana y comprender sus valores y tradiciones a través de los ojos de la generación más joven.
Tu rol como voluntario puede ser muy diverso y dinámico. Ayudarás a los niños con sus tareas escolares, especialmente en asignaturas como inglés, y organizarás o participarás en actividades creativas y lúdicas que fomenten el aprendizaje y la expresión. También tendrás la oportunidad de dirigir o participar en sesiones deportivas como fútbol o baile, que no solo promueven la salud física, sino que también fomentan el trabajo en equipo y la confianza.

Día 1 - Llegada, recogida en el aeropuerto y registro.
You will be picked up at the airport and will check-in to the hostel or the guest family. Get something to eat and settle in. Afterwards, we will give you an introduction about the program and show you around in the area, where you can have breakfast, the Spanish school, supermarkets and restaurants.
Día 5 - Día en el cañón y parapente
The Chicamocha Canyon is south americas biggest and most beautiful canyon. Enjoy it's view on a daytrip and join a paragliding tandem flight if you are up to.
Día 9 - Clase de inglés dentro de la prisión.
Nuevos Horizontes is a foundation in the prison of Bucaramanga. They help the imates to find track back to a new life with new opportunities. We are supporting the foundation with weekly English classes, where you as a volunteer can get directly involved.
Días 2 y 3: Clase de español y voluntariado con niños.
A typical day starts with delicious breakfast, followed by a Spanish class. After a great lunch in a local restaurant, we will go to one of our charity foundations. You will get to know the children and have some first exchanges and activities. Transport is arranged by us and you will be accompanied by a local person.
Días 6-7: Clases de español y voluntariado con niños.
More Spanish classes to become fluent and volunteering with the children in the afternoon. English classes, Sports sessions or playful activities.
Días 10-13: Clases de español y voluntariado.
More Spanish classes and of course more volunteering. The children will know you by now by your name and you will be actively involved in the activities.
Día 4 - Recorrido por la comuna y un barrio tipico
Dive into the real Colombian life with it's culture, arts, dancing and music. In this tour, local people will guide you through their neighborhood and tell you stories about daily life and history.
Día 8 - Tour de café con vistas y degustación.
Enjoy spectacular views from above and learn first hand about the Colombian Coffee culture. Enjoy a guided tour through a Coffee Plantation and Roastery and taste some delicious coffee.
Día 14 - Recorrido por la ciudad con gente local.
Every stay in Bucaramanga includes an authentic tour through the city, led by local people.

El impacto que harás
Your volunteering in Colombia generates a cultural exchange that expands the vision and dreams of more than 500 children and participants of our foundations in Bucaramanga. Bucara Voluntours works hand-in-hand with local foundations that support children living in vulnerable neighborhoods. Each foundation has its own unique approach to making a positive impact in the lives of these kids—through sports, music, dance, emotional development, and playful learning. Your role as a volunteer can be very diverse and dynamic. You’ll help kids with their schoolwork, especially in subjects like English, and organize or take part in creative and playful activities that encourage learning and expression. There are also opportunities to lead or participate in sports sessions such as football or dance, which not only promote physical health but also build teamwork and confidence.

I’ve been part of the project for 7 weeks and it has been a pure blessing! Bucaravoluntours team is so friendly and organised. They really turn my trip into something unique! Participating Foundations
Foundacion CAPAZ
CAPAZ stands for "Cultura, Arte & Paz". The foundation is located in a vulnerable neighbourhood and improves the life for the community and above all for the children with many coultural, music, dance and arts activities.
The foundation will give you a unique tour through a district you normally wouldn't have access to. You will learn a lot about their history, interact with the community in various activities, learn about traditional Colombian dance styles and music intsruments.
Furthermore, you will have lunch with a local family and taste authentic meals.
Nuevos Horizontes
For sure one of the most surprising foundations you will ever visit. Located in the Modelo state prison of Bucaramanga, the foundations "Nuevos Horizontes (new horizons) offers a reintegration and detoxication program for prisoners who suffer from addictions.
Without any medication, but with a lot of sports, dancing, music, psycological and educational activities they already changed or even safed the life of hundrets of men.
It's a heartwarming and surprising experience to visit this prison and it's foundation and for sure not what you would expect!
Foundacion HUELLAS
Huellas is a social project which provides emotional education to children and adolescents.
They focus on workshops in groups as the main learning setting. This allows participants to exchange and interact on many topics, as well as to reinforce positive behavior and attitudes.
As a volunteer, you can support the project in many areas. You can support the crew in educational workshops, you can play games with the kids or have sport sessions.
Goles por la Paz
"Goles por la paz" acts in one of the most vulnerable neighbourhoods in the north of Bucaramanga.
A team of social workers, psychologists and physical trainers works with children and teenagers between 5-16 years of age. This mixed team, which is regularly supported by volunteers delivers a sports and educational program to around 200 children.
The foundation has access to two sports pitches, where you can participate in the sports activities or play interactive games with the children.
