Wir arbeiten Hand in Hand mit lokalen Stiftungen, die Kinder in benachteiligten Vierteln unterstützen. Jede Stiftung verfolgt ihren eigenen Ansatz, um das Leben dieser Kinder positiv zu beeinflussen – durch Sport, Musik, Tanz, emotionale Entwicklung und spielerisches Lernen.
Freiwilligenarbeit mit Kindern ist eine unglaublich bereichernde Erfahrung, da sie Ihnen die Möglichkeit gibt, eine echte Verbindung zur kolumbianischen Kultur aufzubauen und ihre Werte und Traditionen durch die Augen der jüngsten Generation zu verstehen.
Deine Rolle als Freiwillige/r kann sehr vielfältig und dynamisch sein. Du hilfst Kindern bei ihren Hausaufgaben, insbesondere in Fächern wie Englisch, und organisierst oder nimmst an kreativen und spielerischen Aktivitäten teil, die Lernen und Ausdruck fördern. Du hast auch die Möglichkeit, Sportkurse wie Fußball oder Tanz zu leiten oder selbst daran teilzunehmen. Das fördert nicht nur die körperliche Gesundheit, sondern stärkt auch Teamgeist und Selbstvertrauen.

Day 1 - Arrival, Airport Pickup & Check-in
You will be picked up at the airport and will check-in to the hostel or the guest family. Get something to eat and settle in. Afterwards, we will give you an introduction about the program and show you around in the area, where you can have breakfast, the Spanish school, supermarkets and restaurants.
Day 5 - Canyon Day & Paragliding
The Chicamocha Canyon is south americas biggest and most beautiful canyon. Enjoy it's view on a daytrip and join a paragliding tandem flight if you are up to.
Days 9 - English class in a foundation in the prison
Nuevos Horizontes is a foundation in the prison of Bucaramanga. They help the imates to find track back to a new life with new opportunities. We are supporting the foundation with weekly English classes, where you as a volunteer can get directly involved.
Days 2 & 3 - Spanish class & Volunteering with children
A typical day starts with delicious breakfast, followed by a Spanish class. After a great lunch in a local restaurant, we will go to one of our charity foundations. You will get to know the children and have some first exchanges and activities. Transport is arranged by us and you will be accompanied by a local person.
Days 6-7 - Spanish classes & Volunteering with children
More Spanish classes to become fluent and volunteering with the children in the afternoon. English classes, Sports sessions or playful activities.
Days 10 - 13 Spanish classes and volunteering
More Spanish classes and of course more volunteering. The children will know you by now by your name and you will be actively involved in the activities.
Day 4 - Comuna Tour and Life in a Colombian Barrio
Dive into the real Colombian life with it's culture, arts, dancing and music. In this tour, local people will guide you through their neighborhood and tell you stories about daily life and history.
Day 8 - Coffee Tour with great views and tasting
Enjoy spectacular views from above and learn first hand about the Colombian Coffee culture. Enjoy a guided tour through a Coffee Plantation and Roastery and taste some delicious coffee.
Day 14 - Authentic city tour with local people
Every stay in Bucaramanga includes an authentic tour through the city, led by local people.

Your volunteering in Colombia generates a cultural exchange that expands the vision and dreams of more than 500 children and participants of our foundations in Bucaramanga. Bucara Voluntours works hand-in-hand with local foundations that support children living in vulnerable neighborhoods. Each foundation has its own unique approach to making a positive impact in the lives of these kids—through sports, music, dance, emotional development, and playful learning. Your role as a volunteer can be very diverse and dynamic. You’ll help kids with their schoolwork, especially in subjects like English, and organize or take part in creative and playful activities that encourage learning and expression. There are also opportunities to lead or participate in sports sessions such as football or dance, which not only promote physical health but also build teamwork and confidence.

Foundacion CAPAZ
CAPAZ stands for "Cultura, Arte & Paz". The foundation is located in a vulnerable neighbourhood and improves the life for the community and above all for the children with many coultural, music, dance and arts activities.
The foundation will give you a unique tour through a district you normally wouldn't have access to. You will learn a lot about their history, interact with the community in various activities, learn about traditional Colombian dance styles and music intsruments.
Furthermore, you will have lunch with a local family and taste authentic meals.
Nuevos Horizontes
Mit Sicherheit eine der überraschendsten Stiftungen, die Sie jemals besuchen werden. Die Stiftung „Nuevos Horizontes“ (Neue Horizonte) befindet sich im Modelo-Staatsgefängnis von Bucaramanga und bietet ein Reintegrations- und Entgiftungsprogramm für Häftlinge an, die an Suchterkrankungen leiden.
Ohne Medikamente, aber mit viel Sport, Tanz, Musik, psychologischen und pädagogischen Aktivitäten haben sie bereits das Leben Hunderter Männer verändert oder sogar gerettet.
Der Besuch dieses Gefängnisses und seiner Anlage ist ein herzerwärmendes und überraschendes Erlebnis und mit Sicherheit nicht das, was Sie erwarten würden!
Foundacion HUELLAS
Huellas is a social project which provides emotional education to children and adolescents.
They focus on workshops in groups as the main learning setting. This allows participants to exchange and interact on many topics, as well as to reinforce positive behavior and attitudes.
As a volunteer, you can support the project in many areas. You can support the crew in educational workshops, you can play games with the kids or have sport sessions.
Goles por la Paz
"Goles por la paz" acts in one of the most vulnerable neighbourhoods in the north of Bucaramanga.
A team of social workers, psychologists and physical trainers works with children and teenagers between 5-16 years of age. This mixed team, which is regularly supported by volunteers delivers a sports and educational program to around 200 children.
The foundation has access to two sports pitches, where you can participate in the sports activities or play interactive games with the children.
